The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide upfitting services for up to 38 emergency vehicles. The vendor shall install a department-supplied list of equipment into agency-supplied vehicles. This RFP is issued for the purpose of selecting a vendor to install a pre-provided list of emergency equipment into various law enforcement vehicles, including but not limited to: - Ford Explorer Police Interceptor (Patrol Build) - Ford Explorer Police Interceptor (K-9 Build) - Ford Explorer Police Interceptor (CID Build) - Ford F-150 SSV (Animal Control Build) - Ford F-150 XL (CID Build); Scope of Work - Provide installation services for all provided list of emergency equipment. - Include all necessary materials for installation (e.g., wiring, fasteners, fittings, mounting hardware, switches, connectors, tape, etc.). - Include shipping costs of any vendor-supplied materials or equipment. - Provide itemized pricing for each equipment type and related installation materials. - Provide a shipping address (upfitting location) where vehicles will be delivered for service. - If this location changes after the closing date of this RFP, the vendor shall be fully responsible for any associated cost differences and all coordination of the vehicle move. -Any items supplied by the Sumner County Government may be reduced from the price list.
