Model: * To maximize staff capacity and align with district elementary school master schedules, MNPS seeks a solution model based on daily 15-minute 1:1 tutoring sessions for selected kindergarten through second grade students. Student Curriculum Resources and Materials: * MNPS uses FastBridge Early Reading and aReading as the district's universal reading screeners and prefers a solution that does not require the use of an additional screening assessment. * Teacher-directed, scripted curriculum designed specifically for use in kindergarten through second grade * Age-appropriate and engaging learning materials based on research-backed principles of early literacy instruction * Print resources (decodable readers) available for students Tutor Training: * Comprehensive initial training for tutors * Access to training materials and resources Ongoing Tutor Coaching: * Weekly session observation (recorded sessions or onsite) * Weekly individualized coaching sessions for tutors (virtual or onsite) * Access to coaching resources and support Web-Based Data Tracking: * Online system for tracking student progress through the curriculum * District-wide dashboard displaying student progress and tutor statistics * Metrics including completed lessons per week for tutors, average time spent per lesson, and attendance at coaching meetings Regular Meetings with Principals and District Leaders: * Scheduled meetings to update principals and district leaders on progress * Opportunities to seek feedback from principals and district leaders * Provision of additional resources as needed
