A.1. The Contractor shall provide all goods or services and deliverables as required, described, and detailed below and shall meet all service and delivery timelines as specified by this Contract. A.2. Definitions. For purposes of this Contract, definitions shall be as follows and as set forth in the Contract: a. Tennnessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) e-Licensing System - data system that houses Tennessee childcare data. This system represents both TDHS regulated childcare programs and Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) schools that offer preschool services and school-age before/aftercare programs. b. Early Learning Contractor - name given to field staff that are responsible for monitoring School-Administered Childcare programs in accordance with Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 49-1- 1101–1109 and State Board of Education (SBE) Rule 0520-12-01. c. School-Administered Childcare - any childcare or preschool opportunity for children six weeks–five years of age or K–12th grade student that is run by a public or private school. A.3. The Contractor shall participate in training and onboarding offered by the State prior to conducting health and safety monitoring on assigned School-Administered Childcare programs. Training and onboarding activities include but are not limited to the following: a. Participate in up to five (5) days of onboarding training with the State’s regional directors. b. Shadow an assigned State early childhood quality and supports senior coordinator for a minimum of five (5) business days and up to one (1) month to learn firsthand, through job embedded professional development, how to accurately provide monitoring services. c. Participate in all of the State’s required Early Childhood Quality and Supports training regarding monitoring, including monthly webinars and in-person meetings (where applicable). d. The State’s Early Learning Division will provide the Contractor with the following equipment to complete the training and work outlined in this Agreement: 1) Laptop computer; 2) IPad; and 3) Phone .
