Bus drivers require a physical which will include a regular urinalysis, vision, hearing, and other DOT physical requirements. Drivers will require one or two physicals per year. The bidding agency must facilitate the electronic transmission of examination results and additional information from the examination performed for commercial learner’s permit/commercial driver’s license applicants/holder to the FMCSA’s National Registry. Provider must continue to provide Form MCSA5876(medical examiner’s certificate) to all bus drivers for our records. The bidding agency agrees to offer appointments daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The ability to schedule appointments 6 weeks in advance of due date is required. A list of employees approved for physicals at Henry County Board of Education expense will be provided. Employees are responsible for calling to schedule their appointment.
