The CONSULTANT will assist the Maury County Building Maintenance Department with consultation and coordination with updating the Comprehensive Plan regarding the addition and utilization of ADA compliant restrooms and general facility improvements. The renovation will take place at the Maury County Senior Center located at 1020 Maury County Park Drive in Columbia, Tennessee. The services include the following: 1. A thorough evaluation of the existing facility to include but not limited to capacity regulations, building code and building energy efficiency standards. 2. Identify potential Construction phase issues and perform all work in accordance with OSHA practices and standards. 3. Develop a pedestrian traffic flow efficiency plan for an emergency response. 4. Adhere to The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) set standards throughout project duration. 5. Effective coordination with MC Building Maintenance regarding logistical constraints, challenges or general conditions. 6. Evaluation of cost regarding different outcomes or recommendations to the facility. 7. Implement a construction milestone plan. 8. Provide an operating cost mitigation plan to optimize efficiency including but not limited to HVAC modernization.
