1.1 Testing specifications A. Required tests that shall be performed during scheduled service visits based on the timing outlined for each. Water designated for quarterly testing may need to be done monthly if parameters are not being met. • Raw Water- Bi-Annually Provide Raw water test at a minimum of 4 locations (Bi-Annually). Locations are to include 1. Main Plant, 2. Humphreys Law School, 3. South Campus (Community Health), 4. Lambuth Campus (CarneyJohnston) o pH o Conductivity o Total alkalinity o Total hardness o Calcium hardness o Silica o Chlorides • Cooling Tower Water- Monthly (During operational season, approximately April-November) Testing includes all cooling towers provided in the equipment schedule – Exhibit A. o pH o Conductivity o Total alkalinity o Total hardness o Calcium hardness o Inhibitor Actives (phosphate, phosphonate, azole, zinc, etc. based on inhibitor selected) o Tracers (PTSA, Molybdenum, if present in the inhibitor) o Free Chlorine o Biological count (by dipslide method inoculated 24-48 hours by Service provider personnel and incubated at 35° C) • Main Chilled Loop Water- Monthly Testing includes all chilled loops provided in the equipment schedule – Exhibit B. o pH o Conductivity o Molybdenum o Biological count (by dipslide method inoculated 24-48 hours prior by Service provider personnel and incubated at 35° C) Chilled Loop Water other than Main Loop- Quarterly Testing includes all chilled loops provided in the equipment schedule – Exhibit B. o pH o Conductivity o Molybdenum o Biological count (by dipslide method inoculated 24-48 hours prior by Service provider personnel and incubated at 35° C) • Hot Loop Water- Quarterly Testing includes all hot loops provided in the equipment schedule – Exhibit C. o pH o Conductivity o Molybdenum o Biological count (by strip method inoculated 24-48 hours prior by Service provider personnel and incubated at 35 ° C) • Steam Boiler Feedwater- Monthly Testing includes all steam boilers provided in the equipment schedule – Exhibit D. o Conductivity o pH o Total hardness o Calcium hardness o Sulfite o Silica
