CMAR Contractor responsibilities during the construction phase are generally as follows: 1. Review design documents, inclusive of Drawings and Specifications, developed by the Engineer(s) as they are advanced toward final completion and notify the Owner and Engineer of any inconsistencies between the Basis of Guaranteed Maximum Price and the final design Drawings and Specifications. 2. Plan, schedule and manage the construction of the Project. 3. Maintain health and safety guidelines and requirements and ensure subcontractors adherence to provide a safe work site for all project participants. 4. Manage the construction to be not more than the GMP based on detailed open-book pricing. 5. Manage construction schedule. 6. Construct and commission the facilities. 7. Coordinate sequencing of construction activities/planning with LDA Engineering and Owner. 8. Comply with all Federal, State, and local construction permitting requirements. 9. Coordinate work of all subcontractors. 10. Provide construction Quality Control/Quality Assurance program.
