1. General Information Unit Type: Type I Ambulance Scope of Work: Major collision repair including, but not limited to, ambulance module salvage and remount, complete chassis replacement, body reconstruction, and full electrical and mechanical integration. Repair Standards: All work shall be performed in accordance with: • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements • Ambulance manufacturer best practices • Applicable federal, state, and industry standards Work Classification: Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Body, and Finish 2. Chassis Replacement 2.1 Remove and Replace Chassis The contractor shall: • Remove the damaged chassis from service • Supply and install a new Ford F-450 XLT chassis with the following specifications: o Four-wheel drive (4x4) o 84-inch cab-to-axle o Diesel engine o OEM Ambulance Preparation Package 2.2 Module Transfer The contractor shall: • Remove the ambulance module from the damaged chassis • Preserve, protect, and reinstall all module systems, including: o Electrical systems o Structural interfaces o Environmental systems (HVAC, seals, and pass-throughs) 3. Structural and Substructure Repairs (Module) 3.1 Front and Curbside Damage The contractor shall remove damaged components, including: • Rubrails and warning/scene lights • Curbside warning/scene lights, camera, and trim • Front curbside corner extrusion • Lower front wall skin • Front wall substructure The contractor shall replace or repair, as required: • Front substructure • Front wall skin (welded, blended, and corrosion-protected) • Front curbside corner extrusion • ALS door jamb (repair or replacement as required) 3.2 Wheel Well and Skirt The contractor shall: • Remove and install fiberglass fender flare for refinishing • Repair or replace aluminum skin surrounding wheel well • Repair or replace skirt substructure
