Hardware Features The Access Control System shall support the following type of credentials: ● 13.56MHz, encrypted Secure copy protected credentials ● Mobile Smart Phone Credentials ● Ability to integrate with Biometric readers ● “Open” Controllers that are not locked to a specific Access Control Software Additionally, please include pricing for wireless lock and handle sets that integrate with the system. 4.7.3 Self Maintenance and Support Knox County Schools has a team of low-voltage technicians who currently support and maintain the current system. Knox County requires the ability to purchase and self-program additional controllers, readers, and credentials. All proposed systems shall allow self maintenance and support of the system. Knox County will be willing to undergo training and certification if it is required to accomplish self-maintenance. Please list the cost of training and certification per employee if there is a cost associated. Knox County Schools to be provided with any access or lock codes on reader and controller hardware to assist with programming and connecting them to the system. Knox County Schools reserve the right to specify credentials or reader technology if the proposed solution is not determined to be acceptable or interoperable. 4.7.4 Software Features • The access control system software shall be capable of supporting 125,000 users, with a minimum of 200,000 credentials (two stored credentials per user). It must also be able to scale to up to, or beyond, 500 controllers. • Software shall be capable of automatically disabling user access to facilities if their account is disabled in Microsoft Active Directory. • SAML Single Sign on is preferred for application access
