KUB is searching for a Small Business vendor who can provide Gas-Fired Hot Water Boiler with Pump.

Boiler must be delivered to KUB by May 15th, 2026.
KUB seeks to develop a stronger and more diverse local contractor and supplier pool to increase the number of business entities providing goods and services to KUB, increase competition for goods and services provided to KUB, support growth in the number of jobs and the tax base in our community, increase the usage of KUB utility services and develop local job skills that will be transferrable to other public and private entities across the area.
To accomplish this goal, KUB has determined that it is appropriate to provide local business entities with a five percent (5%) bidding preference for this project.
The bidding preference will be applied after all bids have been received and opened. If a local small business enterprise has provided an otherwise qualifying bid with a price within five (5) percentage points of the otherwise lowest qualifying bid, the local business enterprise will be considered to have the lower monetary bid. This incentive shall apply only to monetary bids and shall have no effect on any other evaluated item in the bid or proposal. As defined in KUB’s Procurement Guidelines Article VI, a Small Business Enterprise is considered local if it is physically located within KUB’s service territory
