Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of these specifications is to provide an overview of what the Department of Game, Fish and Parks (hereafter referred to as ‘Department’) deems to be a complete and acceptable level of cleaning of all areas of the Outdoor Campus/Regional Office facility as outlined under this Request for Proposal. The term ‘clean’ as used in these specifications shall mean free from soil, grease or grime. The selected contractor and the Department shall agree on the final manner of cleaning, frequency of cleaning, and scope of cleaning prior to finalization of a services contract developed from this Request for Proposal. Depending upon costs and other considerations, the final scope of cleaning may be altered slightly from these specifications upon mutual agreement of the parties. Special cleaning services may be requested by the Department at intervals selected by the Department or following specific events held at the Outdoor Campus where additional cleaning may be warranted. Special cleaning services will generally include deep cleaning of carpets, floors or other areas in these situations and will be billed separately from this contract. All cleaning shall be done after normal Game, Fish and Parks business hours or as agreed to by SD Game, Fish and Parks and the contractor. On many days, there may be scheduled evening events, meetings and other programs or activities taking place in the Outdoor Campus or public side of the building, so cleaning after 9 pm most days will work best. However, the office area may be cleaned any time after 5 pm Monday thru Friday and anytime on the weekend. The contractor shall perform janitorial and cleaning services as specified within each category outlined below with the exception of State of South Dakota recognized Holidays or at other times when the building may be closed to use. Again, the final schedule for cleaning and scope of cleaning shall be agreed to by the contractor and the Department via contract.
