Specifications include, but are not limited to: A.Provide clinically necessary medical/dental/psychiatric services to all inmates and residents, principally on-site, as effectively and efficiently as possible to the County. All services must meet or exceed the minimum standards established by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC).B.Operate under NCCHC criteria for accreditation and standards for the full duration of the contract and without any lapse. The County received NCCHC accreditation April 7th 2019. C.Establish and carry out a written health care plan with clear objectives, policies & procedures, and on-going audits consistent with the standards of NCCHC.D.Maintain complete and accurate records of all medical, dental and mental health care. Collect, analyze and distribute health statistics on a monthly basis and as needed to appropriate agency administrative personnel. E.Operate the health care program in a humane manner with respect to the inmate/resident rights to basic health care services.F.Maintain an open and collaborative relationship with all agency personnel and operational staff.
