Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project scope will involve the design, bid and construction for JPA, Pavement Maintenance at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, OSE # C1220--01X/SWMR. The concrete pavement in front of the Jameson Prison Annex (JPA) is spalling at the panel joints. This pavement sees both bus and heavy truck traffic. The northernmost row of parking in the adjacent lot does not meet ADA standards. The concrete paving is original (1992) and has been repaired by the facility in the past. The trench drain along the turnstile entrance to JPA has been damaged with a temporary repair performed. The project is to replace the existing concrete pavement in front of JPA as well as the northernmost parking row in the JPA lot to meet current accessibility standards. Replacement of the trench drain in front of the JPA turnstiles is also included in the project scope. There is potential for replacement of adjacent sidewalks and trench drains at the Sioux Falls Community Work Center entrance. Refer to attached ‘Exhibit A’ for locations of project scope.
