Deep cleaning of BHSU Yellow Jacket Apartments (specified apartments only). The term “clean” shall mean free from soil, spots, marks, stains, smudges and includes disinfection using chemicals and cleaning solutions provided by the contractor. The contractor will be required to provide their own cleaning products and equipment. The bidder must provide a list of chemicals and cleaning solutions. The bidder must understand that BHSU is a “green” facility. Cleaning will commence after the Spring 2025 students have moved out and before any summer conferences commence or summer students move into the apartments, for the Summer of 2025. The first deep cleaning can begin on May 10, 2025, at 8:00 am MDT, with the summer students’ apartments to be cleaned, first, and must be completed as soon as possible after May 10, 2025. A second deep cleaning will take place before the Yellow Jacket apartments are rented to law enforcement, for the 2021 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and can begin as early as July 12, 2025, and must be finished no later than July 30, 2025. A final cleaning, as necessary, will be conducted between August 11 and August 21, 2025. This cleaning would consist of a wipe-down instead of a deep cleaning, depending on the need and use of each apartment. All cleanings will be scheduled based on use of each apartment. Not all apartments will require three (3) cleanings and the initial deep clean may not occur in the month of May for all apartments.
