The intent of this Request for Proposal and any resultant Agreement is to obtain aerial wildlife survey services in 2026 for pronghorn antelope in western and central South Dakota described below. The Contractor will be responsible for all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, trained/certified pilots, hangar fees, and supervision and management of those pilots, necessary to meet or exceed the Agreement specifications. Note, certain equipment and supplies will be provided by State as described below. Contractor will use a fixed-wing aircraft for wildlife surveys using the methods described below. Experienced low-level pilots will be provided by Contractor to perform necessary visibility as described below. All survey areas listed below are approximate and may be slightly decreased or increased depending upon flight speeds, terrain, weather conditions, and available budgets. Once Contractor is stationed in South Dakota, all wildlife surveys outlined in the resultant Agreement will be completed before leaving South Dakota, unless directed otherwise by State.
