This notice is intended strictly for market research to determine the availability of Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE).
Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The anticipated applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is Q999 – Medical-Other.
OBJECTIVE
The Indian Health Service (IHS) Pine Ridge Service Unit (PRSU) consists of one hospital in Pine Ridge, SD and two satellite clinics in Kyle and Wanblee, South Dakota. The purpose is to establish a multi-year contract, base plus two option years, for Medical Technologist services.
SCOPE
Laboratory Services by Medical Technologist, CLS or MLT, shall be provided in the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital and the Outlying Health Centers. The services will include diagnostic testing procedures. The roles and responsibilities of Contractor Personnel are those typical of a hospital or clinic that provides moderate and high complexity laboratory health care such as occurs in outpatient and inpatient services, to include emergency room services, obstetrical services, behavioral health, surgery, mobile units, and outlying clinics and health stations.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS
Laboratory is in operation 24/7 and will include all regular hour shifts, weekends, government holidays. Shifts will be a flexible schedule of maximum 45-hour work week as per determined by government to meet needs which means 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts per week.

Interested parties are expected to review this notice to familiarize itself with the requirements of this project. Failure to do so will be at your firm’s own risk. The following information shall be included in the capability statement:
A general overview of the respondent’s opinions about the difficulty and/or feasibility of the potential requirement.
Information in sufficient detail of the respondent’s (a) current capability and capacity to provide Medical Technologist services and (b) examples of prior completed Government contracts and other related information.
