Mattress shall be of the following nominal dimensions: 36” Width x 80” Length Materials: DUAL FIRMNESS FOAM MATTRESS • Topper: 5 Zone 2-inch convoluted high density plush topper • Core: 4-inch firm high density foam core • Components bond together by a non-toxic water-based adhesive • Cover: XP FR – FB 210Denier poly urethane coated nylon ticking with laminated FR Barrier • Inverted seam lock stitch construction • FR thread (fire retardant) • All safety testing done by UL labs • Mattress conforms to CFR 1632 • Mattress conforms to new CPSC 16 CFR 1633 • Mattress conforms to BFD IX-11 BC • Mattress conforms to California Bureau of Home Furnishings Technical Bulletin 129 “Flammability Test Procedure for Mattresses for use in Public Buildings” • Entire mattress must be recyclable • No vents allowed because they can allow bed bug intrusion • Shipped in 4 mil poly bags rolled or flat is acceptable Tolerance: A. Commercial tolerances shall apply on all material and dimensions. Warranties: A. A minimum of two (2) year warranty is acceptable on workmanship and material. Excluded from this warranty will be misuse of mattress such as burns, chemicals, negligence, or improper cleaning.
