The City of Seneca is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide operation and management services for its demand response transit service. The specifications listed are the minimum required by the City. Contractors shall commit to providing services that are consistent with these specifications. The Seneca Transit Authority through contractor procurement will offer non-emergent transportation to City and County citizens through on-demand reservation services. Eligible rides are non-emergency medical appointments, prescription drop-off/pick-up, essential shopping to include groceries, prescriptions or any other life sustaining purchase, and job related transportation. All rides will be free to the rider with the exception of regular work transportation which will include a nominal fee of $5 per work event. Reservations will be made through an application service provided by the Contractor where riders will register personal information including contact information and an address.
