Specifications include, but are not limited to: The course scheduler software must allow a student access to select courses to add to schedule, campus preference and term. Software must allow students to establish times in which they cannot be in class, or in which they wish to have breaks. Software must be able to provide students with several schedule options based on their criteria. The software must be able to provide real time reports of course demand, thus allowing Academic leadership to add courses more effectively and help with enrollment. Software must be able to be accessed by advisors, to allow advisors more time to spend on which courses a student should take, and less time on the actual schedule planning. Software must allow administrator the ability to determine priority of visibility of courses, as well as adjust order of priority during active enrollment periods. Platform must allow administrator ability to create and edit informational wording and warnings for students, i.e. multi-campus schedule, online requirement.
