The Contractor shall offer only Safety footwear that must be American Society for Testing and Materials herein after referred to as ASTM approved with the minimum requirements of: Composite Toe Steel Toe C-Compression Resistant EH-Electrical Hazard Resistant I-Impact Resistant PR-Puncture Resistant PT-Protective Toe SR-Slip Resistant Cut/Chainsaw Resistant WP-Waterproof The safety shoes and boots offered shall include but are not limited to the following features: • Steel Toe to meet or exceed “ASTM F2412-05 - Standard Test Methods for Foot Protection” • “F2413-05 - Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective Footwear”, • “Class 75 - Impact and Compression Standards” or latest version. • Shall meet or exceed, “ASTM Metatarsal Standards”, where applicable. • Shall meet or exceed, “ASTM Conductive Standards”, to reduce or minimize static electricity and reduce possibility of ignition of volatile chemicals or explosives, where applicable.
