Specifications include, but are not limited to: Equipment Furnish and Install (3) ADA Platform Lifts with specs and design comparable or equal to Garventa X3 or Savaria Delta Lifts per local, state, and national codes and regulations. Commercial applications must follow ADA accessibility guidelines and regulations. Equipment shall be mounted to the left side of each stairwell so stairs can be utilized while lift is not in operation. Stairwells are located on the second (2E), third (3E) and fourth (4D) floors. Equipment must be able to accommodate patrons that are utilizing walkers, crutches, wheelchairs (motorized or non-motorized), mobility scooters, etc. Equipment must have no less than a 550lb rated load limit Equipment must travel from floor level up three steps to top landing Equipment shall come with a minimum two year parts and one year labor warranty Equipment shall come with the following accessories: o Remote call stations for top and bottom landings with constant pressure controls o Platform key switch o Emergency stop switch o Fold-down seat with seat belt o Attendant remote o Rack and pinion drive powered by 24 VDC motor o Automatic folding/unfolding platform and arms o Manual lowering device Equipment power requirements need to be the following: o 120 VAC Single Phase o 20 Amp o Charleston County will provide a dedicated 120VAC 20 Amp fuseable/ lockable service disconnect for each of the units being installed o The contractor shall make all power connections to the “load” side of the service disconnects for all each of the units being installed.
