Specifications include, but are not limited to:The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is soliciting bids for On-Call Drainage Structure and Concrete Repair. The contractor shall replace broken concrete sections of curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, constructing new catch basins, and converting existing catch basins within the State Right-of-Way throughout Spartanburg County. 1. Providing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, traffic control, personnel, reports, project management and other incidentals (including but not limited to: cost for license, permits, insurance and taxes) necessary to perform the work as described here-in. 2. Providing traffic control in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and NCHRP 350 Standards. 3. Provide personnel with personal protective equipment to use while performing work. Failure to provide proper PPE shall be grounds for the project engineer to suspend work until compliance is met. 4. Complying with all federal, slate, and local laws. 5. Protecting adjacent property at all times. Any damage to adjacent property caused by the vendor’s operations shall be repaired and restored to the satisfaction of the project engineer at the vendor’s expense. Damage Claims shall be handled as outlined in Section IIB. Failure of the vendor to resolve damage claim issues in an appropriate and timely manner as determined by the project engineer shall serve as grounds for suspending work and placing the vendor in delinquent status until such issues have been resolved . 6. Notifying the Resident Maintenance Engineer a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours in advance of mobilizing to begin work.
