Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Servers (Part A) SDPC is looking for the supply and installation of a Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Solution that would successfully host a mixture of server workloads with Windows and Linux virtual machines hosting key business applications and infrastructure solutions such as MS SQL. Our current converged infrastructure is Hyper-V running three (3) HP 380 servers configured in a stack with HP MS 2040 SAN. This provides 120 logical processors, 384 GB RAM, and 12 TB storage. We currently use 6 TB of the storage for virtual machines. Each HP 380 server has dual 10GbE SFP+ interfaces. The solution must include or provide the following features: Converged server and storage architecture that at minimum meets existing specs, expandable for future growth. Fault tolerance and health monitoring capabilities Hardware-based end-to-end data encryption for data in use, in flight, and at rest Solution must be compatible with migration from Hyper-V to proposed solution. Vendor is responsible for migrating existing Hyper-V virtual machines to proposed solution Other Considerations: Simplified deployment and administration features 3 to 5-year maintenance and support extended warranty terms Support for ready integration with cloud data upload, backup, recovery, and/or DR services and capabilities. SDPC currently uses Arcserve UDP appliance. Hardware compression, deduplication features, and built-in back-up capabilities 5.3.3. Virtual Desktop Imaging (Part B) SDPC is looking for servers for a Virtual Desktop Imaging solution. We anticipate ordering up to 8 VDI servers over the life of the RFP. The solutions will support the following functionality. Two 10 GB Ports Dual Power Supplies Dual 20 Core Processors (80 logical processors); minimum 2 GHz 1536 GB RAM minimum 16 x 1 TB enterprise grade SSD Out of band management NVIDIA Quadro P4000 GPU or district-approved alternative 5.3.4. Cameras (Part C) Each facility/campus will have a minimum of one (1) server with the following specs: 2 post Rack Mount Rails Dual 10 GBE ports (SFP+) Dual Power Supplies Dual 8 core processors 8 (4) TB Storage Drives for a total of 32 (RAID 10) 7.2K RPM minimum Out of band management 16 GB RAM (minimum)
