Specifications include, but are not limited to: Generators furnished under these specifications shall be a generator of the latest improved model in current production and shall be of good quality as to workmanship and material used. Vendor shall fully test prior to delivery, deliver and set emergency / stand by diesel generating system, including all devices and associated equipment specified herein and as may be necessary for operation. Vendor must offer 24 hour service, 7 days a week with delivery and set-up within eight (8) hours from request of the specified systems to a site designated by Clemson University. 2.1 Provide a containerized diesel generator within eight (8) hours from request to a site designated by Clemson University. 2.2 Units shall be self-contained and provide a minimum operating hours at 75% load without refueling for 24 hours for sizes up to and including 100kW, 12 hour for sizes up to 1000kW, and 8 hours for 1000kW and larger. 2.3 The vendor will be responsible for delivery, setup, initial fueling and pickup of the units upon request and connection of additional fuel storage tanks if requested. 2.4 The vendor must provide hands-on instructions of the proper operation of the generator at the time of delivery as well as written instructions. 2.5 Generator output voltage shall be field selectable and capable of producing 208Y/ 120 Volt, 3 phase, 408Y/ 277 volt, 3 phase and 240/120 single phase. They shall have fine voltage adjustment control at the operator panel. 2.6 The generator shall be completely assembled, adjusted, tested and all equipment, including standard and supplemental equipment shall be installed and the unit ready for operation upon delivery.
