Specifications include, but are not limited to: . Installation at the Beaufort Arsenal, constructed in 1852, is a tabby/non-structural masonry structure faced with stucco and having many gothic arched windows. The fabric panels must be installed within window jambs to minimize visual impact of the permeant fastening hardware and receivers needed for the panels. A series of stainless-steel receivers will be installed into the jamb with a series of metal angles bolted to the receivers. In order to lessen the effects of adding the hardware to the building, bolts will be added sensitively by pre-drilling holes and using hand screws to install the bolts, which will then be capped and sealed to prevent moisture intrusion. The fabric shutters will be attached to the angles as needed by trained staff using a man-lift for access.
