Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must pressure wash all exposed exterior surfaces of the building, including entrance sign, doors and frames, handrails, columns, windows, ceilings, and canopies to remove oil, loose paint, dirt, foreign matter, rust, mold, and/or mildew. Sufficient drying time must elapse before painting can begin. First coat of paint will be Sherwin-Williams exterior latex wood primer (B42W8041 or approved equal.) Sufficient drying time must elapse before second coat is applied. Second coat of paint will be Sherwin-Williams A-100 exterior latex flat, A6 series (or approved equal) applied to exterior surfaces to match current building colors. Unless otherwise indicated, contractor is to provide factory-mixed coatings. When required, mix coatings to correct consistency in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions before application. Contractor will not reduce, thin, or dilute coatings, or add materials to coatings unless such procedure is specifically described in the manufacturer’s product instructions. Joints will be caulked with Powerhouse 1100A siliconized acrylic latex sealant (or approved equal.)
