Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing unit is a Trane 7.5 ton split system heat pump. The condensing unit model number is TWA090A300AA and the Serial number is F36192033. The voltage for both the indoor and outdoor units is 208/240 volts three phase. The air handler model number is TWE090A300AB and the serial number isF24175690. The auxiliary heater model number is BAYHTRL315AA and the serial number is F12681227. The rated kilowatts and voltage for the strips is 11.25/14.96 kw 208/240 volts 3 phase. The new unit is to be a Trane 7.5 ton split system heat pump with 11.25/14.96 kilowatts or equivalent auxiliary heater. Due to vibration noise in the wall, persistent leaks, and the age of the equipment the refrigerant lines and drain lines willbe replaced with new lines. The new refrigerant lines will be refrigeration hard copper tubing. The refrigerant lines on the outside of the building will be covered by a sheet metal cover that will stop two inches above where it turns out to the condensing unit. The refrigerant lines will enter the building just below the ceiling of the copier room that is located inside the building next to where the condenser is located. The smaller line “liquid line” will be insulated where it is run along the ceiling of the copier room in order to prevent refrigerant noise and vibration from being heard inside of this room. The refrigerant lines in this room are to be covered by a sheet metal cover along the ceiling. These lines will then penetrate the wall of the hallway and enter the hallway above the drop tile ceiling and run above the ceiling to where the original lines penetrate the floor of the mechanical closet on the second floor. When installing the new refrigerant lines ifsolderless fittings (Zoom-Lock, Pro-press, Maxi-pro, Rector seal, etc.) are used, they ARE NOT allowed to be used inside of walls orin locations that are not easily accessible. If these fittings are used, the location ofthese fittings will be marked on the outside of the insulation for ease in locating them in case of a refrigerant leak. The drain trap will be an Easy-trap brand trap with a built in from the thermostat in the event of a stopped up drain. The air handler will have an auxiliary drain pan under the stand or plenum with a float switch installed. The auxiliary drain pan will have a drain line with a cut off valve between the pan and where it ties into the main drain. The existing return plenum may be reused but it must be cleaned and free of dust and debris. Hail guards are to be furnished and installed on all outdoor coilsby the contractor. All materials and supplies for this installation are to be furnished and installed by the contractor and are to be included in the bid. Any holes that are uncovered or created by this installation are to be sealed to the fire rating of the wall or floor that are penetrated. Debris and old equipment will be cleaned up, hauled away and disposed of by the contractor. Safety precautions are to be taken by contractor to protect visitors, students, staff, and personnel. Project must be completed within 30 days of date on purchase order.
