Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project generally consists of asphalt rehabilitation of the existing aircraft apron in front of the terminal building and the addition of a new LED Runway End Identifier Lighting Systems (REILS) for each end of Runway 6-24 at the Lancaster County Airport. The project contains variable depth milling, single surface treatment, and asphalt paving. The project includes approximately 2,500 tons of P-401 bituminous surface course, 9,500 square yards of single surface treatment, and 150 square yards of P-501 PCC pavement, and 4 REILS. Associated major base bid work items include concrete sidewalk, crushed aggregate base course, electrical, pavement markings, adjusting aircraft tie-downs, and topsoil and sodding.
