Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected vendor must supply all labor, tools, equipment, cabling, and materials necessary for the set-up, operation, and break-down of the sound system, video projectors, projection screens/video walls, cameras, etc. for the University’s December 2023 Graduation and Nurse Pinning Ceremonies in accordance with the following specifications: 1. The selected vendor will provide an HD video camera with 42x zoom lens at the back of the seating area, one HD camera to be located in the auditorium, and (2) camera operators. This video feed from the vendor-provided cameras will need to be switched (live) using a vendor-supplied switcher and video technician, and projected onto the screen on the main auditorium stage, as well as the vendor supplied video walls which will need to be mounted on each side of the stage by the vendor. a. Vendor-provided camera operator will provide a close-up shot of speakers at the podium, and graduates as they receive their diplomas. b. Vendor will record ceremonies and agrees to share the recorded footage with USC Upstate. Vendor gives permission for their recorded footage to be used by USC Upstate. c. Additionally, the video feed from the vendor-provided /operated HD video cameras will be livestreamed to YouTube. The vendor will work with the USC Upstate Office of University Communications to facilitate the ‘hand-off’ of the live stream, which will be viewed from the USC Upstate website. 2. The selected vendor will provide one (1) 12,000 Lumen projector to project onto the house projection screen on the stage in the main auditorium and two (2) 16’x9’ video walls one on each side of the stage. The video walls will be mounted by the vendor. a. The vendor-supplied projector will receive/display the following video sources: i. The vendor-provided HD video cameras will record Commencement video and audio, receiving a mix of all audio sources from the vendor-provided soundboard. ii. Vendor-provided camera operator will provide a close-up shot of speakers at the podium, and then graduates as they receive their diplomas. b. The screen will also need to receive/display the following video sources: i. Video output from the vendor-provided HD video cameras ii. USC Upstate logo (to be displayed whenever a video source is not being projected) – Provided to vendor on a USB flash drive or downloaded link iii. PowerPoint Photo Slideshow – Provided to vendor by downloaded link iv. A pre-recorded video with audio – Provided to vendor by downloaded link 3. The selected vendor will provide all audio for the auditorium including soundboards, mixers, cabling, microphones, and an audio technician. An audio cable is needed to connect to a USC Upstate provided laptop for use with Marching Order software for the reading and scanning of graduate’s names. At least three (3) microphones and cabling are needed for the following: a. Commencement speakers at the podium b. Announcers calling the names of graduates c. Live music performed by ensemble located in the orchestra pit
