The scope of work (SOW) for this project consists of providing inspection and inventory services for all Engineering services may include but are not limited to: Task 1 – Project Organization and Management Provide management of the project including coordination and correspondence with SCDOT, internal staff, and subconsultants to ensure the project is developed according to requested scope and maintains established schedule. Task 2 – Field Surveys Perform all necessary field surveys required in preparing complete construction plans. Surveys performed to the requirements of the SCDOT Survey manual. Task 3 – Environmental Documentation and Permitting Perform environmental studies as necessary for the project. Provide environmental documents for the SCDOT/USACE approval in accordance with NEPA and all other applicable standards and guidelines. Prepare permit application and drawings as required for and in accordance with SCDOT and all other applicable standards and guidelines. Task 4 –Traffic Engineering Perform traffic analysis and prepare a traffic study providing recommendations for access management, signal warrants, turn lanes, and safety improvements. Prepare Traffic Management Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Pavement Marking and Signing Plan, and Maintenance of Traffic Plan. Task 5 –Preliminary Design & Plans Upon receipt of conceptual plans, provide preliminary roadway design and plans in accordance with SCDOT, Federal and all other applicable standards and guidelines. Provide construction cost estimates. Task 6 – Hydrology and Hydraulic Design Perform complete hydrology and hydraulic design, modeling, and analysis as required and in accordance with SCDOT’s Requirements for Hydraulic Design Studies and other applicable guidelines. Provide sediment and erosion control design and plans in accordance with SCDOT requirements and applicable SCDES regulations. Task 7 –Right of Way Plans Provide Right of Way plans in accordance with SCDOT, Federal and all other applicable standards and guidelines. Provide construction cost estimates, prepare design exception documentation, and assist with resolving issues that may arise during Right of Way negotiations.
