SUMMARY: Berkeley County is requesting bids from qualified companies for the abatement and demolition of the Trinity 6 School located in Jamestown, SC. Includes: • Abatement of materials identified in the Asbestos and Lead Survey provide by Terracon dated 1/10/2025. Terracon report number EN247349. (Attachment A) • Total demolition of structure one to include slab, footers, and foundations. • Total demolition of structure two with asbestos in place to include footers and foundations. Disposal of all debris as asbestos waste. • Engineer inspection for structure two to meet SCDES permitting requirements. • SCDES permitting. • Hauling and disposal of all debris generated according to SCDES and EPA guidelines. • Asbestos reports or 3rd party air monitoring/testing as required by SCDES. • SWPP or tree protection that may be required by city or county. Excludes: • Lead paint abatement. • Moving of owner/tenant belongings. • Salvage of any items to be reused. • Weatherproofing or new construction. • Utility capping or disconnects. • Soil importation or backfill. • Seeding or soil stabilization. • Any additional environmental concerns that may arise
