The 628th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources for a requirement to provide the following services for the 437th Aerial Support Squadron & 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron:
Comprehensive Material Expeditor Services to support logistics and transportation operations at Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS). Services include Cargo Processing [Preparation, Routing, and Movement], maintaining records, and documenting various actions. Furthermore, 437 APS requires Material Expeditor Services to perform Truck Dock/In-Check: Carriers coming in with parts, equipment, and other cargo and in-check it into Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS) to show its location for in-transit visibility. There are 20 truck loads of over 7,000 items at gross weight of 200,000 lbs. Average monthly workload estimate consists of one to three truckloads per month with a turn-in low/high range of 59/881 items per load.
The 628 Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) requires Material Handler Services including receiving, managing and storage of incoming supplies and equipment received from various depots, GSA sources, commercial vendor, equipment custodians, and other Joint Base CHS-WS employees. 628 LRS Flight Service requirement element consists of contractor provided services for personnel support in Forklift Operations and Material Handling services. Performance workload provides receiving, storing, and preparation of property for shipment of approximately 26 truckloads per year totaling over 55,000 items at gross weight of 337,000 lbs. Average monthly workload estimate is one to three truckloads per month with a turn-in low/high range of 3/29,008 items per load.
