Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope for this project includes the following: a. Creation of migration timeline and employee communication plan. b. Development of SharePoint communication and team sites for various municipal departments, including custom branding, layout, and design. c. Development of SharePoint site template library for future expansion. d. Implementation of workflows within SharePoint to automate and improve the efficiency of municipal processes. e. Migration of existing local share files to the newly created SharePoint sites, ensuring data integrity and security. f. Development of document management system and retention schedules. g. Establish processes for employees to add documents to the document management system and to identify and manage obsolete records. h. Training of IT and Town Staff in using and administering the SharePoint document management system going forward. i. Comprehensive review of security settings and access control within SharePoint document management system and establishment of default settings.
