Specifications include, but are not limited to: The primary responsibility of the Contractor Security Guard shall be to provide a safe environment for consumers, the SCCB staff, and to the general public. The Contractor Security Guard shall be responsible for providing desk security, answering phone calls, escorting individuals as needed and patrolling the parking lot and campus at least once every hour, in addition to other duties, to be assigned as needed. The Contractor Security Guard shall be responsible for completing and submitting a written report identifying any incidents, suspicious or hazardous conditions or violation of the law at the end of their shift to the SCCB. The Contractor shall ensure that the Security Guard is always in uniform and has a cellphone so that they may contact or be contacted by the Contractor, the SCCB, or law enforcement (if necessary). Should the Security Guard not have a cellphone, the Contractor shall be responsible for providing the Security Guard with one. The Contractor Security Guard shall remain alert and observant throughout the duration of their shift. No Contractor Security Guard shall report under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
