The Contractor inspect and repair six (6) generators at the Midlands Center campus. Below are the items identified that need repair: Walnut/Juniper Building Cat 225KW - Diesel • Remove Fan guards and install new drive belts. • Install 2 new starting batteries • Run unit to verify repairs Plaza Elliott 75KW - Natural gas • Rebuild Radiator - drain the cooling system, remove front of the enclosure and remove the radiator. • Radiator to be professionally repaired/rebuilt, and reinstall. • Install new hoses. • Refill system with new coolant. • Run unit to operating temperature to verify repairs. Program Building Cat 225KW - Diesel • Leaking Radiator - drain the cooling system, remove front of the enclosure and remove the radiator. • Install new radiator. • Install new block heater elements and new thermostat. • Install new hoses. • Install new belts. • Install 2 new starting batteries • Refill system with new coolant. • Run unit to operating temperature to verify repairs. Kitchen Cummins 150KW - Natural gas • Leaking/Rotted Radiator - drain the cooling system, remove front of the enclosure and remove the radiator via crane. • Disasemble radiator, new cores and new gaskets installed, install repaired/rebuilt radiator and enclosure. • Install new hoses. • Install new belts • Refill system with new coolant. • Run unit to operating temperature to verify repairs. Palm/Willow Building Detroit 400KW - Diesel • Replace Block Heaters - drain the cooling system, remove block heaters. • Install new tank style block heaters. • Install new shut off valves. • Install new hoses. • Refill system with new coolant. • Run unit to operating temperature to verify repairs. Sycamore/Oak Building (most urgent repair needed) Cat 508KW - Diesel • Fuel Injection Pump leaking at line connections - drain the cooling system, replace fitted heater hoses and all rubber coolant hoses. • Replace all rotted fitted fuel lines with new, and new fuel primer pump installed • Remove hard metal fuel lines and install new seals in pump fittings and fuel lines. • Install new fuel filter in fuel tank supply line. • Install new thermostat, and new seals. • Install new air filter. • Install new hoses. • Install new drive belts. • Install 2 new starting batteries • Refill system with new coolant. • Pressure wash oil and fuel from engine and enclosure. • Run unit to operating temperature to verify repairs.
