The work for the Long Point Road and Belle Point Drive intersection will consist of, but not be limited to, three (3) new ten (10) foot pedestrian signal poles, two (2) new pedestrian signals, eight (8) audible pedestrian systems, upgraded pedestrian signage, the installation of a new signal cabinet and controller with new electrical services, approximately two hundred (200) linear feet of conduit, a junction box, and a copper wire loop detector. The work will also consist of removal and installation of thermoplastic pavement marking and striping, including the realignment of one (1) existing crosswalk and the addition of one (1) crosswalk. The work for the Rifle Range Road and Long Grove Drive intersection will consist of, but not be limited to, removal and installation of concrete curb and gutter, asphalt, and concrete sidewalk, two (2) inch mill and overlay of asphalt, and the construction of four (4) new pedestrian ramps and two (2) bioretention swales (reference plans for details). The work also includes thermoplastic pavement marking and striping including the realignment of two (2) crosswalks and the addition of two (2) new crosswalks. Lastly, the work will consist of three (3) new ten (10) foot pedestrian signal poles, eight (8) audible pedestrian systems, replacement and/or installation of six (6) total copper wire loop detectors, and one hundred (100) linear feet of conduit. Erosion control measures are to be put into place as specified in the construction plans to fulfill Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirements.
