The University of South Carolina Parking and Transportation Services in partnership with the Student Government and Student Affairs is seeking rideshare service solutions from qualified providers to ensure greater rideshare access, affordability, and safety for currently enrolled University of South Carolina students and faculty and staff in Columbia, South Carolina. The selected Contractor(s) will provide rideshare services to eligible students, faculty and staff with the following conditions: 1. For service in the city of Columbia, the boundary will be set as a five (5) mile radius from the core of campus. The University of South Carolina may provide advanced notice to allow for the boundary to exceed the five (5) mile radius. 2. Pickup and drop off locations are to be pre-determined by the rider, anywhere within the pre-determined radius, and within established times and dates of service. 3. The University of South Carolina Student Government shall manage fund allocation and consistent payments to the selected Contractor(s). 4. Dates and times for services will be made known in advance prior to each month. Parking and Transportation Services will coordinate dates and times with rideshare Contractor(s). 5. The University of South Carolina & USC Police Department will work with Contractor(s) to determine optimal pick up & drop off locations that do not interfere with scheduled sporting events’ traffic flow. 6. The University of South Carolina may choose to cover a certain percentage orspecific dollar amount of each safe ride/ride sharing service. 7. The rider shall be responsible for additional fees outside of the agreement, such as additional fees associated with damages, tips, or gratuities for the safe ride program
