The SC Department of Employment & Workforce (DEW) intends to contract with the Conference Boards Help Wanted OnLine (HWOL) data series as a sole source to provide real-time Labor Market information for the State of South Carolina that adheres to accepted statistical methodology practices mandated by the Federal Statistical Agencies for published economic indicators. These include new information for workforce & economic development, & analysis of job trends. Published data must include total counts of on-line occupational labor demand at the national, state & local levels. The statistics must be provided in the format consistent with existing federal & state data systems. No additional specifications were given.
