Refuse for collection described in this specification shall include, but not limited to, paper, rags, bottles, metal, boxes, cloth, cans, miscellaneous solid waste (including food waste in some areas), cartons, crates, worn out articles of equipment and furniture, yard debris, cardboard, pallets, etc.Contractor shall: Collect, transport, and dispose of the contents from each container. Empty each container, return it to its original position and replace lid. Sweep up and remove garbage and refuse spilled by the Contractor during each pickup and ensure areas around containers are clean. Cover all open top containers for over the road transportation. Contractor shall: Collect, Transport, and dispose of all refuse and trash in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations of the State of South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) and other governing agencies in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina and the US Federal Government.
