1. Radio Equipment: ○ Provide 90 UHF digital radios, compatible with both repeater and point-to-point operation. ○ Radios should support digital encryption, clear voice transmission, emergency alert capability & and programmable channel configurations. 2. Repeater System: ○ Supply and install one UHF digital repeater with appropriate rack-mount hardware. ○ Provide and install a UHF antenna, appropriate for the repeater's output power and location. 3. Licensing and Channels: ○ Facilitate FCC license modification for: (If current license does not meet standard) ■ One UHF repeater pair. ■ One point-to-point channel group (5 digital channels). ○ Important Note: Bidders must ensure that all five purchased channels are licensed, assigned & programmed for customer use. ○ Final system must provide a total of seven digital channels: ■ 2 channels through the repeater (main + alternate). ■ 5 direct (point-to-point) digital channels. 4. System Testing and Infrastructure: ○ Test the existing coaxial cable (SWR and continuity) to verify compliance with UHF digital radio requirements. ■ If coax is within spec, retain and utilize it for the system. ■ If not, recommend and quote a replacement. ○ Ensure all installed hardware meets industry standards and is optimized for school safety use. 5. Programming and Commissioning: ○ Program all radios and systems with assigned frequencies and required features. ○ Label radios and channels for user clarity. ○ Provide documentation for programming files, licenses, and channel assignments. 6. Training and Support: ○ Provide user-level training for school staff. ○ Offer system operation manuals and quick-reference guides. ○ Include post-installation support for 90 days minimum. 7.
