Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The intent of this project is to procure, install and configure enterprise class network infrastructure and cybersecurity equipment in school environments for Richland County School District One. Vendor will install and connect the infrastructure and cybersecurity components to the District networks at campuses and other District managed facilities. 2. The District shall provide to the bidder selected for award District accounting asset tags and the current configuration information, including IP address schemes, naming conventions, trunking information, and wide area network connectivity information in the form of written documentation as well as provide access to configuration files from current electronics prior to ordering equipment. Awarded vendor will be required to: a. Provide a project manager to oversee their stake in each project proposed. This project manager will work with District designated staff and be responsible for coordinating communications to stakeholders. Among other District assigned responsibilities, these communications include but are not limited to coordinating progress reports, reporting obstacles and technical issues with the IT Department, coordinating physical security issues and building access with the Security & Emergency Services Department and coordinating after-hours lighting and indoor climate control with the Facilities Department. b. Insure that all work performed is done in compliance to any AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) and meets all current electrical code requirements. It will be the responsibility of the vendor to stay up-to-date with code changes and implement projects within regulatory compliance standards. c. Perform thorough walk-throughs with deep building inspections to keep change orders to an absolute minimum. Once walked, proposed, and accepted any changes affecting the design, quality of product, quantity of material or initially proposed labor burden must be approved by senior District staff prior to being implemented. Any changes which may require the completion of a change order shall be accepted only by formal written request and require a written approval from senior District Leadership staff prior to any billable work being performed.
