The County seeks Proposals from qualified Firms to assist in the 2020 Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program grant awarded to Beaufort County to elevate eight (8) single-family residential structures throughout Beaufort County. The selected Firms(s) must have knowledge of and provide all services in full compliance with all local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and executive orders including historical requirements, as applicable to these grant programs. The scope of work includes assessment, project development, construction and reporting for the County’s elevation and/or reconstruction projects. The Scope of Work includes, however is not limited to, the following services: 1. Pre-Construction Services a. Mobilization b. Pre/Post Mitigation Survey c. Elevation Certificate - if applicable d. Termite, Lead-based Paint, Asbestos Inspections and abatement - if applicable e. Engineering and Architectural plans f. Pre-construction homeowner walk-through and/or review of plans g. Homeowner Relocation Services 2. Construction services a. Disconnection of utilities b. Elevation of structure and foundation construction c. Relocation or construction of new electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and carpentry as needed or required d. Coordination of building and utility inspections e. Incidentals 3. Post-Construction Services a. Post-construction homeowner walk-through b. Post-Mitigation Elevation Certificate c. Homeowner warranty on faulty, missed, or damaged items/systems
