Playground Surface Mulch. Playground Surface Mulch must conform to or exceed the standards set by the following: a. ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) F 1292-99, Standard Specification for Impact Attenuation Under and Around Playground Equipment. b. ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) F2075-01a, Standard Specification for Impact Attenuation Under and AroundPlayground Equipment, Section 4.6. c. Standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and is ADA compliant for wheelchair accessibility. d. Playground Surface Mulch must meet the IPEMA certification and all criteria as set by the CPSC. e. Bid must include proof that the Playground Surface Mulch has been approved as a safe playground surface material by IPEMA. f. Vendor must be able to provide delivery and installation.
