Specifications include, but are not limited to: A vendor capable of performing a comprehensive security audit. The District's School Safety and Security Department is seeking a vendor capable of performing a comprehensive security audit at approximately fifty-six (56) school campuses (including athletic facilities and transportation sites), and four (4) administrative buildings. The audits are to include for each location, but not limited to, the following: 1. Conduct a security audit of Horry County Schools properties, to include parking lots, building exteriors, classrooms, and interior spaces. 2. Evaluate communication tools and procedures as they relate to security. 3. Review District Security policies and procedures. Identify and evaluate any practices related to campus security. 4. Evaluate the current crisis management plan template, as well as any other protocols/plans relating to campus security. 5. Evaluate of existing security infrastructures (for example: access control, video surveillance systems, and any other equipment, devices, or instruments, associated with campus security). 6. Conduct a site visit to each facility that includes an interview with the campus administrator, a walk through and visual assessment of all building interiors and exteriors including grounds, as well as a school-level crisis management plan review. 7. Provide a written report or summary of audit findings for each facility which includes commendations and recommendations. 8. Provide detailed reports of findings from each facility audit in a comprehensive district report submitted to the Superintendent.
