Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish security services consisting of a specified number ofuniformed, trained, armed, and unarmed security officers to protect County facilities andgrounds. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, supplies, andequipment (i.e. radios at the various facilities and sites). Station logs and incident reportsshall be maintained at all times by security personnel reporting all unusual occurrencesand building deficiencies. All station logs will be provided to the County s FacilitiesDepartment Contracts Manager, On-Site Facility Manager and/or designee upon request.Incident reports will be provided to the County s Facilities Department ContractsManager, On-Site Facility Manager and/or designee without delay upon completion. TheContractor will provide in its response the name and phone number of a local contactperson who will be assigned to addressing immediate issues.2.2The Contractor will perform background checks on all Security officers and provide allrequired training.2.3The Contractor will maintain accurate and complete personnel records, of training criteria,certifications, and biographical data of persons affiliated with this contract.2.4Security officer must possess a high school diploma. At least one year of college ispreferable.2.5Security officer must have good oral and written communication skills. The ability to hear,converse on the telephone and radio is essential.2.6Security officer must demonstrate good judgment and tact, as well as a positive attitudetoward the public and staff
