Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the State of the South Carolina, Materials Management Office, to solicit proposals for a contractor to provide and install commercial-grade infant-toddler playground equipment and fall zone material within the eight Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Sites operating under contract with South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness. Proposals may be submitted by playground equipment vendors with the capacity to provide installation, or by playground installation contractors capable of providing equipment from one or more playground vendors. All proposals, however, must include both equipment and installation. SC First Steps- Early Head Start Program (EHS) is a federally-funded early childhood program designed to serve low-income infants and toddlers (from birth until the child’s third birthday). Participating families receive a high-quality, full-day early child care and education services (within contracted preschool settings) in addition to comprehensive, wrap-around supports provided by SC First Steps.
