The Work to be performed consists of the following: -- The installation of vertical offsets on existing 12-inch, 8-inch and 6-inch water mains to accommodate proposed drainage culverts and ditches associated with the railroad project. Vertical offsets may be required at the existing and proposed CSX railroad right-of-way crossings of Stromboli Avenue, Tuxbury Avenue, Pittsburg Avenue, Cherry Hill Lane, Harmon Street/Milford Street, Anthony Street, and Herbert Street. -- The installation of approximately 265 LF of 12-inch DIP water main in 24-inch steel casing via jack and bore across the CSX right-of-way at Tuxbury Lane. -- The abandonment of approximately 650 LF of an existing 16-inch CIP water main crossing CSX right-of-way and replacement with approximately 300 LF 8-inch DIP water main, valves, hydrant and associated commercial water services along Discher Street between Meeting Street and Summerville Avenue; the removal of 24-inch x 16-inch tees and insertion of 24-inch DIP will also be required as a part of the 16-inch water main abandonment. -- The installation of approximately 665 LF of 24-inch water main along Meeting Street, 600 LF of 16-inch water main interconnecting two existing 24-inch water transmission mains, and associated 24-inch line stops and bypass piping to maintain water service during work. -- The abandonment of approximately 100 LF of an existing 2-inch water main crossing proposed CSX right-of-way on Anthony Street beginning at the intersection with Milford Street. The removal of a 6-inch x 2-inch tee and replacement with 6-inch DIP on Milford Street.
