1. Contractor to strip overburden and add 6 inches of topsoil, potting soil and fertilizer. 2. Contractor to install solar/battery operated irrigation system and connect to City water. Irrigation system shall be adequate to provide for watering sodded areas as well as plantings. 3. Contractor to prepare landscape plan with sketch and/or photo presentation of plan. 4. Contractor to install hose bib towards back of rear fence. 5. Key elements of landscape plan include approximately one thousand (1,000) to fifteen hundred (1,500) square feet of Bermuda sod, plantings that have year-round interest and seasonal plantings for spring/summer/fall. 6. Key components to plan include use of Sabal Palms, podocarpus bordering rear fence, ornamental grass, boxwood and evergreen shrubs, and a variety of flowers. All plantings shall be stated in terms of size. Expectation is plants size will be adequate and appropriate after installation. 7. Two (2) six (6) foot commercial grade park benches to be installed on two (2) eight foot (8’) by four foot (4’) landscape pads. 8. Other use of materials includes professional grade landscape cloth and mulch. 9. The awarded contract proposer will provide all materials and labor according to the scope of work listed above. 10.Sales tax on materials are to be included with the total proposal cost. Failure to provide any of the above documentation will be grounds for rejection of proposal.
