Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the State of South Carolina, Information Technology Management Office (ITMO), on behalf of the College of Charleston, to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) (herein referred to as Offerors) to co-manage and monitor the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system at the College. The purpose of this solicitation is to find a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) to monitor the colleges network on a 24/7 basis. Types of Information Security tools and College systems currently being monitored by the College owned Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) include but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, Desktops and Servers. (Juniper STRM), and advance malware detection and prevention systems and minimize the false-positive alerts.
