Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will process our first class mail at presorted rates. We expect to be able to meter all first class mail pieces at a pre-sorted rate including handwritten pieces at the current rate for a one to three ounce letter so please specify your rate per piece for these services. We will post at the pre-sorted rate regardless of our quantity. All first class mail will require a daily pick-up with same day processing and delivery to the post office. The contractor must provide backup metering service, in case of equipment failure or other issues where Tri-County Technical College is unable to meter our mail. This could be for a 1-day emergency service or it may be required for an extended period. Business mail (bulk) will require a seventy-two hour processing turnaround time. The contractor will pick up daily as needed, process mail and deliver to the post office within seventy-two hours. The 72 hours refers to consecutive workdays and excludes Saturdays, Sundays and the following State holidays: New Year’s Day National Memorial Day Independence Day Thanksgiving Day Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Day Day after Christmas All mailings shall be made either at the Greenville or Pendleton Post Office, where the College has a bulk mail permit established. Contractor shall notify Tri-County Technical College when the mailing is completed and shall return to the College within two (2) business days all materials in excess of those needed for the specific mailing as well as a copy of the Postage Statement for the mailing.
